So, one of my cars is on TV! The show is Sticker Shock on Discovery, and I think it was actually pretty well done. I wish the cars would have gotten a bit more spotlight, but I get that TV has to move fast or they’ll lose the attention of the average viewer. My episode hasn’t shown yet, but they did show a quick beauty shot of it in the first episode!

I thought that was car from Flavien’s post! There are only so many Mitsubishi 360s in the US....if not only one! I’ll have to find somewhere to watch it...I don’t get that channel! :(

Yup, a pretty rare car in the States. Nobody really knew what it was. When we were filming, the director walked over to me and said “No one in this room knows more about these cars than you, but we gotta make the expert look like an expert, so let him do the talking.” I’m not sure if you can see it, but the first episode is up on Discovery’s page here:

Also, I think Motor Trend on Demand has it available for streaming too.

Looking forward to the episode! Watched the first one with Jason Torchinsky’s bug in it....not bad and nice to see the cars, but it does seem a little fake, especially when they have to make out that the ‘experts’ know more than you about your own car!
Looking forward to seeing the little guy, nonetheless! How is the 1117 coming along? :)
